Many of you will have read the recent findings from the FEI Tribunal relating to a positive dope test at the Olympics. As a supplement company and a proud member of the independently audited BETA NOPS and UFAS feed safety schemes, we are saddened by this finding, and our sympathies are with the affected rider and her connections.

The majority of the supplement industry, in particular those who are accredited under the BETA NOPS scheme, work extremely hard to prevent prohibited substances being present in their nutritional supplements, as demonstrated by the infrequent positive dope tests globally caused by supplements, especially when compared to other feed or forage sources.

As a responsible horse owner or rider, we recommend you choose your supplements extremely carefully, only feeding supplements manufactured by companies with the appropriate certifications and safeguards in place, such as the BETA NOPS scheme, which is well recognised in the UK, and increasingly across the world.
